Just wanted to share this nice video I shot the other day with my telephoto lens on the drone. I've always wanted to get some video and photos of the bird sanctuaries but felt I didn't want to get too close and disturb the nesting birds. I finally got a drone that can do it and so I thought I would share the video with you guys.
Here it is:
Bent Oaks Rookery Park is an 8.856-acre piece of waterfront property located across from Little Bay and bordered by Broadway, Business Highway 35, and Maple Street. The nine-acre property includes large windswept oaks as well as an active Great Blue Heron and Great Egret rookery. The Rookery is federally protected under the Migratory Bird Act of 1918. It also includes a 14-space parking lot.
