Get your taste buds ready for the 6th Annual BGC Battle on the Bay BBQ Cook-off Fundraiser! 🍖🔥 This exciting event is all about mouthwatering barbecue, live music, auctions, vendors, and supporting a great cause. Here are the details:

  • Date: May 3rd - May 4th, 2024
  • Location: Festival Grounds on E Laurel St, Rockport, TX
  • Event Highlights:Delicious BBQ: Over 20,000 pounds of BBQ will be served! Live Music: Enjoy tunes while you savor the flavors. Auctions: Bid on fantastic items and experiences. Vendors: Explore a variety of offerings. Kid’s Zone: Fun activities for the little ones. Fundraising: All proceeds benefit The Boys and Girls Club Of Aransas County.

Friday Events (May 3rd):

  • Cook Set-up Begins: 7 am
  • Vendor Set-up Begins: 9 am
  • Gates Open: 5 pm
  • Kid’s Zone Activities: Memorial Day Color Sheet, Face Mask, Hula Hoops, Spinner Wheels, Arts & Crafts, Coloring Challenges, Bubbles (5 - 9 pm)

Saturday Events (May 4th):

  • Gates Open: 10 am
  • Kid’s Zone Activities: Memorial Day Color Sheet, Face Mask, Hula Hoops, Spinner Wheels (11 am - 6 pm)
  • Beans Competition: 11 am
  • Face Painting: 11 am - 1 pm
  • Chicken (1 Half) Turn-in: 12 pm

Event Sponsorships Available:

  • Weber Grill: $250 (Includes 2 Social Media Posts & Logo on Website)
  • Silver Chef: $500 (3 posts on Event Facebook Page & Logo on Website)
  • Band Sponsor: $1,000 (Signage on stage, 3 Facebook posts, & Logo on Website)
  • Event Sponsor: $5,000 (Event Presented By…, Banner on Stage, 10 Food Tickets, VIP Parking, Logo on Website and Facebook Page)

Competitors:

  • Cook Team (40’x40’ spot, all meats): $225
  • Kids Cookoff (Junior Division 7-12 yrs, Senior Division 13-17 yrs): $25 per entry (Parents are spectators; kids cook independently)

Vendor Opportunities:

  • Vendor 10’x10’ spot: $50
  • Vendor Electricity Add-on: $25
