The tournament is open to all anglers. 2. Official tournament hours are 30 minutes prior to sunrise until 3 PM the day of the tournament, rain or shine. 3. Boat, kayak, wade, bank, surf, jetties, pier, or any legal means of fishing is permissible; however, NO SAIL LINES, GIGGING, BOW, ARROW, OR TROTLINES are permitted. 4. There are NO fishing boundaries. 5. Official weigh-in starts at 3:00 p.m. and ends at 4:00 p. m. the day of the tournament at Rock Bottom Park and Pub at 507 S. Austin S. All anglers must be IN LINE by 4 p.m. 6. This is an individual tournament or Team (limit 4 to a team).  Heaviest stringer of TWO red drum slot sizes (20”-28”). *Teams MUST fish together! If wading or fishing from shore, Team members must be within sight of each other. If kayaking, teams must enter the same launch area together. Fish as a TEAM! You can get to your location by different boats, but fish within sight of each other (exception is kayaks – must launch together). 7. In the case of a tie, the winner will be decided by length. If length is equal, the winner will be decided by time with the winner being the first fish weighed in.  Eligibility: 1. All anglers 17 and older must have a valid Texas fishing license. 2. All state and federal penal codes and game laws shall apply at all times. 3. All Texas, Coast Guard, and State Parks and Wildlife regulations shall apply at all times.  Each angler must be a registered entrant of the tournament and must abide by all tournament rules and regulations. Registration is done by an email sent to Rockportfishingclub@gmail.com  and Paypal sent to hoffmannconstruction1974@gmail.com or  Venmo Shannon Sawyer at Shannon-sawyer-19 by Wednesday, June 8th by 5 pm.  Weigh-in/Sportsmanship: 1. All anglers must be IN LINE by 4 p.m. (Teams must check in together) 2. NO OVERSIZED OR UNDERSIZED FISH. * we use a flat Check it Stick with a Perfect Pincher – please use one to measure your fish!   3.  All fish weighed in and entered must be caught during official tournament hours on the day of the tournament. 6. All fish must be weighed-in by the angler who originally caught the fish and must be in that person’s physical possession at the time of weigh-in. (in an individual ice chest OR on an individual stringer in a shared ice chest) 7. Sportsmanship, courtesy, safety, and conservation are expected from all entrants. 8. Only the fish to be weighed in is to be in the weigh-in area. 9. All game laws of the state of Texas, applicable to fishing on public waters, must be followed.  11. Any entrant found to be in violation of any tournament rules and regulations will be subject to disqualification from this tournament and all future tournaments. 12. ALL DECISIONS MADE BY THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR ARE FINAL. 13.  The decision to fish as an individual or as a TEAM must be decided by June 8th – participants/TEAMS will be posted to the Rockport Fishing Community and Club Facebook page by Friday.   Registration, Entry Fee, and Prizes: 1. Entry for all eligible anglers is $30 2. The Angler must have emailed Rockportfishingclub@gmail.com AND PAID by 5 pm Wednesday, June 8th.    3.  The Honor System applies throughout the entire tournament. 4.  Prizes: 1st place 50% of pot 2nd place 30% of pot 3rd place 20% of the pot ($5 per entry will be used for additional prizes, $25 per entry will go to cash pot) 5. Registration is done by emailing Rockportfishingclub@gmail.comIn email, please provide your name, if a team – your Team’s name, email address, phone number, and the statement of  “I, state your name, am choosing to participate in the 2nd Annual “Who’s Your Daddy?” The tournament,  and abide by the rules outlined.”    Please state if you are entering the side pots, and which side pots, and pay accordingly. IMPORTANT NOTES: a list of contestants will be generated and provided digitally to the participants as well as posted to the Rockport Fishing Community and Club Facebook group by 8 pm Friday, June 10th. CAPTAIN’S MEETING – a posting with a final list of participants and a copy of these rules will be sent out again on Friday, June 10th, by 8 pm.  This will be the “virtual” captain’s meeting. Questions can be posted on the Rockport Fishing Community and Club Facebook group or contact Shannon, Lisa, or Kelly. An informal meeting will be at Rock Bottom Friday, June 10th at 6 pm – not required, but come visit!! The winner takes all – can enter individually or by Team - If no winner, the pot will roll over to the next tournament. Raffles: Each Contestant that comes to the weigh-in will receive one free raffle ticket for some great prizes.  Additional tickets will be available for purchase for $5 each.  Money collected will go to additional raffle prizes for the next tournament.
